- Copy the startup icon from the CD to the desktop and reduce the required
memory.

Almost all problems are because of a QuickTime conflict.
- Delete old versions of QuickTime. (QTW folder)
- Remove QTW from path statement.
- Do not reload QuickTime from CD-ROM.
PC Problems
- General protection faults are mostly video related.
- Get the latest video driver from the manufacturer or your dealer (no

- Sound Skipping:
- The virtual memory is set to large .
- The user is not running enough memory.
- Intro narration playing throughout game (probable double launching
of program):
- Hit escape to leave the game
- Alt-tab through all the open programs and see if Gus appears in the
window
- Release alt key when if you see Gus and continue playing game.
- This double launching is caused because the user double or triple clicks
on the "Go to Cybertown" button
- Cyberopolis aborts in the diner:
- set smartdrive in the auto exec as follows "Smartdrv.exe 1024
1024
- Offset parallel video:
- probably an ATI card set to "DeviceBitmap=off" in [Mach 32]or
[Mach 64] in win.ini or sys.ini.
